The
is pleased to announce that we will be hosting a
full-day intensive session at the
EDRA55 Conference
on
June 19, 2024!
This event will explore the psychological and physiological dynamics of trauma and its impacts. The morning features presentations and a panel on trauma responses, design requirements, societal impacts, and research principles.
Participate in the DrawnOut! mental health sketching activity to deepen your learning. In the afternoon, hear from designers of the Path Home Family Shelter (Carleton Hart Architecture and Jessica Helgerson Interior Design), Rose Haven Day Shelter and Community Center (Gensler), and Fora Health (Holst Architecture).
The day will conclude with a tour of Fora Health in east Portland. Special thanks to our sponsor, HunterDouglas, for making this workshop possible.
The event will start at 9:00 a.m., and end in time for participants to enjoy the evening keynote event. A light breakfast and buffet lunch, as well as transportation to the tour site will be provided.

Define complex needs for Trauma-informed Design spaces regarding holistic human factors related to environmental responsiveness, as informed by evidence, including models of care for the user and the site
